We are a group of highly motivated individuals from different walks of life persuaded by a single motivation of making a positive impact on the lives of the underprivileged. We firmly believe that our great nation cannot be built through drawing-room discussions and T.V. debates – but only the zeal and practical implementation of ideas will help us progress.
The school has large classrooms, a field with swings where the kids can run around and play to their heart’s content, computer labs where the older kids learn coding, a library, clean drinking water and washrooms. In sheer contrast, the schools in the vicinity consist of dimly lit poorly ventilated rooms with no outdoor fields where the children have to resort to playing in filth and squalor. These can hardly be called schools where education is treated as a mere business. Furthermore, due to high tuition fees, going to school remains a distant dreams for many families.
All the operations of the Community Welfare School are run with the support of the community. They do not receive any financial assistance or government aid. The finances related to subsidized tuition fees, construction and maintenance of the infrastructure are raised by friends and well-wishers of the school. Through the sheer hard work of the founder Mr. Ajaz Farooqui and his team of dedicated teachers and staff, the lives of students have greatly improved. From mathematical calculations to English and Hindi vocabulary, Science, the students have shown great potential.
We encourage anyone having altruistic interests and wanting to contribute to a social cause to support Community Welfare School – where they can be sure that the funds/commodities, they donate will be put to good use and go to the needy. This school has evolved from the initial stages and we are sure that the students will reach great heights and give back to the community which supported them when they needed help. Rome was not built in a day and this statement truly resonates with the hard work, dedication, patience and continuous efforts of the founder and all the benefactors of the Community Welfare School which have built the school into what it is today.
We are proud of our entire team who have worked relentlessly in making the Community Welfare School one of its kind in Lucknow. This is our journey and we hope to create individuals who will make a significant difference in India and make our country proud.
